Tassie vacation
The 3 of us are enjoying a break for 7 days down here in Tasmania. We are staying with Vanessa's parents in Launceston until this coming Thursday afternoon. It is very nice to be here and they are having a GREAT time getting to know their first granddaughter/child.

The Allbutts RE:Porto
We thought we would just write a update to let you know what we have been up to lately and what is happening in coming months.
Baby Priscila arrived on April 6 2005 (65 days ago today) after a relatively short and straightforward birth. Although it was a difficult adjustment at first, Vanessa (now 25) is now enjoying being a house mum. Mike has spent the last few months working as both a carpenter and webmaster during the day, and involved in the local Christian Surfers (CS) group every monday night. He will be turning 31 at the end of this month.
We have just celebrated 3 years of marriage (nearly 1100 days).
Next week we will be heading to Tasmania for 1 week to spend time with Vanessa's family and our other Tassie friends.
In mid July all 3 of us will be spending 7 days in Hawaii for the annual US Christian Surfers conference. We are attending this gathering so we can meet many of the leaders of CS in the US, as well as to promote the launch of Christian Surfers in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, where we feel called to go. Some of the leaders we will meet will be on the board of directors for CS Mexico. The establishment of this board of directors is crucial for the ministry to go ahead in Mexico, so it is important for us to meet them, as we will be under their leadership. There are also plans for some leaders (and maybe Mike) to return to Puerto Escondido in October to research opportunities for CS. We are hoping to finalize all the preparations by the end of this year, and to move to Puerto Escondido by early 2006.

Wedding anniversary
On June 8 we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. It was a special day - especially as Priscila was around to participate.
