Surf on a handheld
Today I finally (and it was fairly painless) got my Palm T handheld to surf my home ADSL connection. Some sites worked fine, but many don't. I guess these is a good reason to use CSS to layout content so that you can write a stylesheet for handhelds.

Structured source
On this site I have been able to adjust the source so that the content (text like this) is closer to the top of the page in the behind the scenes bit -- which is better for search engines as they index the page. This is possible using the CSS and the absolute property -- so the links/buttons at the top of this page are actually after this content, but thanks to CSS, they display at the top of the page. One could also tell them to stay (or be in a fixed position) at the top of the pages so that when one scrolls down, they stay in view constantly. (hey - I might try that next time.)
