Vanessa (Ann) was born in 1980 and at the end of 2003 completed her Bachelors Degree of Occupational Therapy in Melbourne's Latrobe University.
She is Australian but lived with her family as missionaries in Spain until she was 14. Her parents are part of the staff at the WEC Worldview Bible College where Mike was studying.
Vanessa has been a Christian since 1999, after completing the Alpha course at her local Baptist Church, Diamond Valley. She is involved in the young adults ministry there and is keen to follow God's call - even if if means having to live overseas as a cross-cultural worker.
And not too long ago she married Mike on June 8 2002! Vanessa thinks Mike is quite ok!
Since then she has been working hard and in some of her spare time makes craft cards. All this still goes on even since she gave birth to her first born, the beautiful baby Priscila Ann Allbutt on April 6 2005.
